Cryptocoryne Wendtii ‘Green Gecko’ Submersed Spathe

During my regular weekly water changes I noticed something white on my Cryptocoryne Wendtii ‘Green Gecko’ which caught my eye, as I began to move some leaves around I noticed a spathe forming submersed ! Now I am no expert but to my knowledge it can be difficult to get Cryptcoryne’s to develop spathe’s submersed so I must have been doing something right. I apologize in advance for the quality of the pictures, the water is tinged brown from almond leaves and taking a picture through glass doesn’t make it any easier.

This is just a theory but I believe what caused the plant to flower was the increase in water temperature. I recently acquired a L014 pleco which prefers 80+ temperatures and I raised the temperature to 83 in order to satisfy it’s needs.
